These twin Detroit Diesel engines just never quit.

The professionally maintained engines run strong and are surprising fuel efficient burning approximately 10 GPH at 10 KT cruise speed or 13 GPH at cruise with both generators running.

Take a peek at the engine room photos to get a feel for the condition of these engines and the enormous size and accessibility of the dual engine rooms.

These are original engines with approx 4300 hours of total time and 2100 hours SMOH.

There are two Westerbeke diesel generators - 8kW and 15kW with auto stop timers.

The electrical system includes two 4D start batteries with isolator/parallel switches (4/2008) and a house bank consisting of five 4D batteries (also new 4/2008).

This 1993 Marquessa 56' Cockpit Motor Yacht features 3 levels of living space and an enormous amount of usable space in smartly designed vessel.

This particular Marquessa features a large cockpit area with plenty of room to drop a couple of lines.

While this vessel is a 1993 model and priced to move, she is also turn key, in good operating condition, and ready to go. The new owner may want to consider a new coat of exterior paint, but aside from this yacht is in fine condition.

New bottom paint in November, 2007. West System epoxy barrier coat.

Boat construction blue prints with plumbing and electrical diagrams are available on request, as are the operating manuals for all systems and complete maintenance records.

Where to begin? This Marquessa has so much usable space, she could accommodate 40+ people comfortably throughout her 3 levels of living space!

For starters, the spacious upper deck features a fully enclosed and fully loaded fly bridge with radar arch. The canvas and eisenglass enclosure is in excellent shape and approx 3 years old. There is plenty of seating on the upper deck, as well as storage, and a wetbar with Corian sink and countertop. The countertop appeared a little rough and the new owner may want to consider replacement.

The Upper deck is reached via interior steps and contains a complete helm station. The aft upper deck is equipped with an inflatable dinghy with a Honda 4-Stroke 40HP outboard and crane.

The midlevel has a forward helm station separated from the main salon by a built in entertainment area with etched glass divider.

The entertainment equipment includes a SeaTel stabilized satellite system with 2 DSS receivers, 3 TVs with VCRs, and a JVC RX-903V digital surround sound stereo receiver with CD in salon with a feed to the master stateroom speakers.

The grand salon features a sleeper sofa, salon table, teak paneling with matching blinds, wood flooring, wicker furniture, and cove lighting. Double doors lead aft to a lounge deck with a built in refrigerator/icemaker, bar sink, trash compactor, ample seating, and plenty of storage.

Down 4 steps is the cockpit with a third helm station with bow thruster and large lazarette storage. Hot/cold fresh water shower, as well as fresh and raw hose bibs. Transom doorway leads to swim platform.

The lower level includes a forward guest stateroom with a queen size and a twin size bunk, ensuite head with separate shower, and closet space.

Full service galley includes a full size stainless fridge/freezer, 4 burner electric stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher, Corian counters with a double undermount sink, and garbage disposal.

Additional features include a central vacuum system, stackable washer/dryer, a 20 gallon water heater, and an HRO 500 gal/day watermaker.

There is a mid-ship are contains an office with supporting head with separate shower across the hallway. Moving further aft is the large twin engine rooms with Nida-core bulkheads for extra sound insulation.

Further aft is the very spacious master stateroom featuring a center island queen berth, 2 double closets, light stained teak cabinets with matching wood blinds, and indirect cove lighting. The ensuite master head has a full tub/shower and a large Corian sink/counter. All lower level portlights open for ventilation.

The four Aqua Air air-conditioning units with reverse heat allow for individual cabin cooling and blow very cold.
